Tackling Food Waste Through Open Discussion

One of the biggest highlights of our Dance for Food Erasmus+ project was having an open discussion about one of society’s most pressing issues—food waste. Every year, tons of perfectly edible food go to waste, while millions of people struggle with hunger. Addressing this problem starts with education and awareness.

Through interactive discussions and engaging games, participants explored the causes and consequences of food waste, as well as practical ways to reduce it in daily life. By exchanging ideas and experiences, we gained valuable insights and inspired each other to make small but meaningful changes.

Non-formal education creates a space where learning happens naturally—through dialogue, creativity, and shared experiences. Together, we took a step toward a more conscious and responsible approach to food.
